A very basic closed guard pass. This is one of the first passes taught to new white belts. This pass is not easy and is not simple but it utilizes a lot of concepts that will be repeated throughout your Brazilian Jiujitsu career (the stack, keeping the elbow in to avoid triangles, cutting the corner to clear the leg and maintaing strong lapel grips throughout the entire pass).
